400 degree oven
- 2 pints grape tomatoes
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- a drizzle olive oil
- 1 block feta cheese
- 1 box pasta ziti or penne works best
- sprinkle Italian seasoning
- dash salt and pepper
This recipe is the easiest thing I have ever made and probably the tastiest. I love feta cheese though. I saw this like most people on Pinterest and have been making it weekly almost ever since. I don't really measure I just took the concept and winged it. Turns out awesome every time.Instructions You will need a 13x9 baking dish. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. place washed grape tomatoes into the bottom of the baking pan. Add all of the ingredients except oil and feta cheese. Drizzle liberally with the olive oil and toss to coat the tomatoes with all of the seasoning. Place feta cheese block in the center and flip to coat with the oil. bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is soft and tomatoes are busting and getting wrinkled.Prepare pasta and if you are making it a main dish, cook the chicken. Once the tomatoes and cheese are ready remove from the oven. Take a large spoon or spatula and smear cheese all around coating all of the tomatoes. once you have a nice sauce add in your pasta. You may add chicken at this point if you like. Serve immediately!
