Romance is in the air. Valentine’s Day is almost here. I love adding touches of hearts to the kitchen and living room during the holiday. A cute blanket, coffee mugs or stirring spoons to match the holiday, and hand towels. Here are a few items I have put together to add subtle touches around the house. If you have kids, I would suggest some party decorations on the big day too. Nothing crazy. Just a few hearts hanging from the ceiling and maybe a few balloons are all it takes to make them feel special.
Next week on the blog we will tackle some fun ways to show the people in your life how much you care for them. This does not have to be tricky or elaborate. Sometimes the best Valentines are simple and intimate. Kids love to get in the spirit with crafts and cooking. I will have the details on our family valentines’ traditions as well.
Hope you have a great week! It’s my first week back at work since my surgery so I may not be on my socials as much as I have been. Keep the prayers coming! Also, how can I pray for you? you can always get in touch with me by emailing me at beckiel@crazymessylovelylife.com
Notes from my Mema stuck in her Bible🥰 these words. Her handwriting. They bring so much comfort. If you do anything for your kids or grandkids, do this. Keep a journal or keep your old study bibles with your notes in them and give them to your kids or your grand kids. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I don't feel so good today but these words and her hand writing are brining me back to life.
The easiest meal prep dinner you’ll ever make. Just assemble the sliders. Pour over a butter mixture and then when I’m ready to cook it we just bake it at 350° for about 20 to 30 minutes until it gets heated through and it’s warm on the inside.
Molly and I are headed to a ladies church Christmas party tonight so we had to throw together a veggie tray for that and assembled this meal for tomorrow night. I’m working a 12 hour shift tomorrow. We will be eating dinner at the party tonight and the boys are going out too. I found some really good looking Duchess potatoes in the freezer section at Walmart today. Check out my stories and I’ll show you. We’re gonna serve the sliders with those potatoes.

Stress-free holiday appetizers. The holidays can be stressful for many reasons, let’s take food out of the equation. Over the years I have come across some very tasty and easy-to-make crowd-pleasers. It’s November! I love the warmth of hot drinks, soups, and a cozy sweater in the cooler fall months. A chill in the air gives the perfect opportunity to cuddle next to the fire with a good book and a comfy blanket. What is your favorite dessert or meal to make this time of year?…
Easter baskets are a fun tradition for kids, no matter how old they are. I like to choose baskets that can still be useful after the holiday. Every time we turn around there is another holiday happening that involves candy. Because of this, I am always on the lookout for non-candy options. Check out the…
