Hey there! I’m Beckie. Mom of 3 kids’ wife, and daughter. I love Jesus, coffee and wine. Can’t live without them. Crafting, cooking for my family and finding good deals are all passions of mine. My number one passion is taking care of people. Three days a week I am a respiratory therapist at my local hospital in rural Virgina. Infact I was at work one day 6 years ago when I got the idea of starting this blog. I was working with someone who was so burnt out and defeated that she didn’t want to keep going. She wanted to end it all. She was so alone in life and thought that everyone else had motherhood figured out and that something was wrong with her because she couldn’t keep it all straight. I quickly let her know that none of us have it all together all of the time. It takes a village, not one lonely momma. I know how hard having all of these roles is on a woman. I’m here to let you know that you are not alone and we will get through this together. My DMs on IG are always open.
My Mission

Here to talk about all thing’s mom, oils, and DIY. and everyday life. I hope to inspire you to do the things we all have to do as a mom, wife and caregivers but maybe have a little fun at the same time. I will be sharing commissionable links on the blog. I will make a small profit at no cost to you from my amazon links. Only buy what you need. I can always re-share links and they will always be here on the blog. Let me know if I can help you find something.
Notes from my Mema stuck in her Bible🥰 these words. Her handwriting. They bring so much comfort. If you do anything for your kids or grandkids, do this. Keep a journal or keep your old study bibles with your notes in them and give them to your kids or your grand kids. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I don't feel so good today but these words and her hand writing are brining me back to life.
The easiest meal prep dinner you’ll ever make. Just assemble the sliders. Pour over a butter mixture and then when I’m ready to cook it we just bake it at 350° for about 20 to 30 minutes until it gets heated through and it’s warm on the inside.
Molly and I are headed to a ladies church Christmas party tonight so we had to throw together a veggie tray for that and assembled this meal for tomorrow night. I’m working a 12 hour shift tomorrow. We will be eating dinner at the party tonight and the boys are going out too. I found some really good looking Duchess potatoes in the freezer section at Walmart today. Check out my stories and I’ll show you. We’re gonna serve the sliders with those potatoes.

Its Friday!
Have you finished shopping yet? I'm almost done.
Molly and I are making Christmas treats today. We will post some in stories as we make them. I forgot I have a hair appointment smack dab in the middle of the day. I better get moving.

if you don’t have a full-size Christmas tree in your bedroom, you gotta do it. I bought this tree at 75% off at Lowe’s the week before Christmas last year. I’m definitely gonna go back this year and see about getting another tree for the dining room. And if you don’t think you have the room, trust me, you probably do. Just shove whatever’s in that corner in your closet. I promise you it will be worth it.
If you have to eat Ramen noodles for a week to be able to afford it, I promise you it will be worth it 🤣
this tree brings me so much joy ☺️
I was so close to not buying it last year because it was the week before Christmas and I really did not want to spend the $85. But I’m so glad I did!
